Yes, I'm still alive. I've been busy training a new person at work. And cleaning my room. Which is a feat. Also, we are now the proud owners of new thermal windows. What sucks? No air conditioner. And it's HOOOOOTTTTTTTTT! The jerk faces installed the windows thursday, did nothing on friday, and won't start installing our spanking new central air until monday. Which I hear is awesome. Also? Tonight is supposed to be the first night I sleep in my room, much less my own house for the first time since wednesday. BUT IT'S STILL FREAKING HOT. Doesn't matter that they lent us these little floor units, it's doing squat for me. ...I'm going to shrivel up and die in my sleep. *whimpers*

Yes, yes I am alive. Not that I think there's anyone out there who particularly cares... Things happened and I had to get away for awhile. Things that have just completely messed with my head. I haven't even really felt particularly inspired to write, although that changed a couple of weeks ago, so I'll see what happens.

A couple of good things have happened since though:

1. My friend had her third baby (another girl to her slight horror and I STILL haven't seen baby Riley yet...)

2. My baby brother graduated (finally) from high school. ...I swear, I almost cried. ...because my camera is a piece of crap. OH! But I almost cried because he was graduating too. I'm not that insensitive. ...okay, maybe I am. Damn camera.

3. My dad called me a butt head. How often does the parent call their kid a butt head? I thought I was going to die laughing.

...I've got to schedule a doctor's appointment soon. Something is definitely wrong with my wrist. And also? If I end up in any kind of waiting room of a hospital again this year, it will be too soon for me. Even if it's in December. NO MORE VISITS TO THE HOSPITAL PLZ. QUOTA FILLED.

Hey kiddies, been up for about 30 minutes or less. Gotta a call that my dad got cut at work and is heading towards the emergency room. Yes heading, apparently they couldn't decide which hospital to send him to... Anyway, heading there myself, just took a quick shower and getting dress now. Talk to you all later!

Okay, so we're going through the ice storm thing again here in nice old Oklahoma. Three years in row. It sure sucks. I called in today because it's been highly recommended by several people that I don't go in. Okay, fine, there goes perfect attendance again for 3 years in a row. But I found out that we don't have work tomorrow either. They actually cancelled work! My work has never done that since I've worked there! I've never heard of them doing that since my dad started working there either! However, there's a catch. Gotta work Friday, which is normally an off day. But hey, I scheduled vacation for Thursday. What does that do to me?

Well, happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! At least to those you celebrate it.

I wasn't sure I was going to survive it myself considering I got off of work at 3 o'clock in the morning and was supposed to eat at like 3 in the afternoon. And there's no making me go to bed early if I'm finally wide awake for the day. I was still feeling a little sick but that had no real effect. But beside for the waking up part, I feared for my life.

My cousins' kids are heathens.

Srsly.

Every holiday I get hit some how by their kids. More specifically one of them. This year wasn't too bad. Thanksgiving was over at one of my cousins house and he had one of those little car things for the kids to drive around in. The battery burned out a while back so it wouldn't move. I ended up pushing the kids around in that thing for like a solid hour. And my knees are killing me! I iced them about 8 hours ago but now we're back to hurting (and icing them again too!). I still got hit though, under the chin. Got really lucky that my tongue wasn't in between my teeth or that I didn't chip my teeth.

I told everyone at work not to be surprised if I came back to work with a bald spot. They asked me what did I mean. My reply: I'll have a bald spot from either pulling my hair out from not trying to kill my family or because my cousins' kids did it for me. ^_^

At least I got lucky this year.

Well, I stayed home from work today. I had some ah, delicate problems we'll say. Not the friend Flow kind though! And then because of said problems it was a while before I ate anything. Which made me really, really weak. But then I did finally ate but now I think I'm regular kind of sick. I need to be better by tomorrow though. One of the ladies at work will be gone and we'll be working our asses off trying to compensate for that.

Anyway, on to the main reason for this post...

Here's a teaser of the pizza-winning decorations I did for Halloween at work.

It's been... Okay I don't know how long. We're done with all major overtime at work, have been for a while in fact. But it's took me a bit of time to be able to stay awake long enough to think up a post. Sure, reply to some of your post every once in a while, but my own post? Nah, brain has been fried.

Actually, the brain is still fried, it's just not extra crispy anymore. During all the overtime at work, we've been subjected to a lot of new rules. One of them, which really makes sense while working in a factory with lots of sharp metal and pointy things, is to always wear protective PPE (personal protective equipment :P). The only thing that makes that difficult is that I have to enter data into the computer regularly. And wearing the gloves spreads my fingers out, so typing without the gloves on his weird for me now. I find I make more mistakes without gloves then with. Of course, I don't have to wear the gloves when doing 'administrative tasks', but not everyone knows that rule, and they were giving me crap about the gloves the week before the new rule went into effect.

Other fun things that have happened lately: MY BIRTHDAY WAS LAST MONTH! Yes, happy birthday to me. I am now a quarter of a century old. And I feel old, because I already have a crappy memory (hereditary, I swear) and have to keep thinking how old I am. But what really makes me feel old is my little brother. Yeah, his birthday was in August and he's 18 now. Jeez it makes me feel ancient. Also, Halloween, thought we did nothing here at the house, was a blast. Or at least the spirit of the holiday was. We have contest at work for Halloween. One is for costumes, a group category (which was won my some of our lovely engineers, dressing as zombies), original costume, and scariest. All of those winners were 1st shifters, so I have no idea what they look like. :/ Another competition was for pumpkin carving. One of us 2nd shifters won that one. And the third competition was for team decorations. And the winner... ME! XD

I was only going to put up a sign that said 'Autopsy Room' on the door to our testing lab (remember, I work in the quality department, which means I test things ^_~). They're double doors, so I decided they needed another sign. So I went to the store and ended up buying more decorations. ...and got carried away. We had fake blood hanging from the windows, tombstones sitting in some windows, and spider webs with our favorite creepy crawlers. Lots and lots of caution tape. And my decorating inspired my coworkers from my shift and our first shift counterparts. My team brought more decorations for me to use, my supervisor made a fake hand with a work glove (a good use of PPE!) sitting in a pot with fake blood dripping out, one coworker made bats and ghosts, and the 1st shifters made a guillotine, brought a jack-o-lantern throwing up his own guts, a noose with a ghost hanging from it, and drew the most awesome picture of a jack-o-lantern I have ever seen. IT WAS GREAT! I was so proud of everyone. And of course we won! No contest! And I'm rambling, but we won damn it! WHOO HOO! We wouldn't have even had anything if I hadn't hung that one sign that first day...

So, in case you don't remember, this one is Fred. And this is my new one, George. ...and yes, I'm almost completely positive both of them are girls. God help my future children, yes?

Well, gotta go lovelies! I'm actually at work right now, just couldn't actually do anything out there. But I better go check out now, anyways. Ta ta~♥

Sister heavily suggest that none of you ever, ever tear off part of your fingernail. Not only does it hurt like a bitch, but it also feels weird once it stops hurting that first day. And only God knows why I keep thinking of when my baby teeth fell out ever time I rub my thumb over my partial nail. Even my tongue starts to poke at my gums like I expect nothing to be there. *shrugs*

On the other hand, freaking people out has never been so easy! XD

...also, girls: never handle razors in the shower when you've only been up for 15 minutes. That's how you lose those fingernails. Imagine if it had been a straight blade!

One thing I will say about having to work all this mandatory overtime and being bribed to work it: gotta love that four digit paycheck.

Hello, hello! I've had an exciting day at work! I was pretty sure it was going to be crappy which it was, but I had something to brighten my day. Or at least I found it~

Here's Fred! He's the little itty bitty cute froggie I found during break. And I shall love him, and squeeze him, and pet him, and name him George Fred!

Here's some other stuff to show you guys though. This is why you don't let the people at work know you're getting married... It's bad for your car. It's also bad when it rains. Here, even the antenna deserved it's own picture. XD

Okay, so, been really, really busy. Carly? That e-mail you got a couple of days ago from me? ...ignore it, I was sleep deprived. Stupid boss who makes us come in two hours early for an hour long meeting, just so first shift can go home on time.

I'm of course still tired. Especially since we all have to cover for one person. And that one person does a lot! He's still not going to be forgiven of course. Because I'm vindictive like that. XD
